Even if you thought the Recon Jet was the coolest thing in the world, if you wear prescription glasses you were out of luck. Well, until now obviously. Due to the fit of the glasses and their inability to fit over standard prescription glasses, the Jets needed a specific insert to be RX compatible.
To accommodate those with eyeball deficiencies, Recon tapped Rochester Optical. Designed to keep the Jet’s functionality and interchangeable lenses, the RX insert simply clips onto the bridge of the smart glasses. The inserts themselves are made from Smart Gold Lenses which are said to minimize eyestrain and fatigue to keep the Recon Jet easy to wear for long periods of time for those with prescription eyewear. Inserts will be available in half eye or full lens models and will be available online through Rochester Optical.
