K-Edge Race Mount for Wahoo Bolt GPS cycling computer

You could argue the new K-Edge Race mount, which is their latest out-front GPS cycling computer mount upgrade option and saves about 15g over the prior option, was designed with the new Wahoo BOLT in mind. It’s chiseled arm and mounting platform match the aerodynamic shapes of the new computer, and now they’ve got a bolt-on mounting plate for it.

The Race mount debuted at Frostbike with Garmin-specific mounting plates, but K-Edge has just added Wahoo mounting plates for that, their budget-friendly Sport mount and their TT mount. Combine that with prior options and they’ve got about 15 different ways you can attach the new Wahoo head unit to your bike.

The Race mount retails for $54.99 USD, or $64.99 with the combo camera mount. Of course, that GoPro’s gonna kill your aerodynamics, but you’ll have rock solid video proof of you going 0.0001mph slower.

The recently released Sport mount (not shown) goes for $29.99, and the integrated Splayd handlebar mount shown above on the PRO bars is $39.99 without camera mount.

The TT mount is $39.99.

They’re hinting that the BOLT’s design could lead to future aerodynamic offerings from K-Edge, and we’re guessing if they make it out this year you’ll see them on pro bikes at major races first. In the meantime, look for the Wahoo-compatible plates for these newer mounts to hit the market on April 20th.
