Truvativ is following up their new cranksets with updated Descendant 35mm DH riser bars and a direct mount stem. The bars will be available in carbon fiber and alloy, each with subtle differences in measurements.

The carbon bar comes in at a claimed 230g and measures 800mm wide. It has a 20mm rise, 5º upsweep and 9º backsweep. The alloy model shares all measurements except for its taller 25mm rise and 310g weight. Prices are $180 (€198 / £168) for carbon and $70 (€79 / £67) for alloy. All € and £ prices include VAT.

The direct mount stem, which is designed to match the bar’s 35mm clamp area diameter, weighs in at a claimed 155g. It has a 50mm length and uses a one-piece aluminum body with individual clamp faces (three parts total, plus bolts). It has 2.5, 5, and 10 millimeter spacers to increase stack height. Retail is $75 (€83 / £70). All three items will be available in July 2017.
