For Paul Camp 2017, they invited handmade bicycle builders from the area to submit their idea of the ultimate monstercross bike or mountain bike. Robert Ives of Blue Collar Bicycles rolled up from Sacto in his “badassmobile” and brought a 650B gravel grinder capable of running 700×42 tires, too…but the fat tires were the right choice for our rides.
