When it comes to limited edition saddles, WTB does it right. Rather than just creating a limited edition product for the sake of it, WTB is continuing their habit of supporting worthy causes with some of the proceeds.

Not only that, but the limited edition saddles are also priced the same as their every day counterparts. In this case, the USA Volt is a Team level saddle with a 142mm width, titanium rails, DNA padding, and a claimed 226g weight which sells for the same $129.95 as the standard Volt Team. However, $15 from the sale of each saddle will go to the American Red Cross with the intention of helping out the victims of the recent wildfires in Northern California. If the saddle looks familiar, that’s because it bears a lot of similarities to the Veteran’s Volt from 2016 which benefited the Semper Fi Fund. However, if you look closely, there are big differences with the USA Volt getting a full red and white WTB logo on one side and the other with blue letters and white stars.

Saddles are available now. Full details from WTB below:

WTB, a company which has established its roots in Northern California for the last 35 years ago, is donating $15 from the sale of each limited edition saddle sold to The American Red Cross as a means of supporting victims of the Northern California wildfires. The Northern California wildfires gave no warning before they tore through the Sonoma and Napa counties of California, forcing communities to evacuate with only minutes, or even seconds, of notice. The disaster didn’t end once the fires were contained and only then were many families able to fully assess the impact and contemplate how to move forward. While aspects of the loss will never return, communities are banding together to rebuild.

Time and hard work are now the driving forces that will return these communities to as close to their former states as possible. The American Red Cross currently has 1,100 disaster relief responders in California, where they are providing food, shelter, comfort and health services to thousands of people who have been affected by the fires. While these services are being provided to families free of charge, nothing is free to those who orchestrate the aid. WTB is thankful and happy to be able to support such a meaningful and necessary cause. The limited edition WTB saddle carries all features of the Volt Team 142mm saddle, with titanium rails and DNA padding, and retails for $129.95.
