The Bicycle Trails Council of East Bay has a few trail days coming up, starting this Saturday.

Joaquin Miller Park Saturday, November 22, 9:00am
Please join us for a day of trail work in Joaquin Miller Park. Our goal for the day will be to armour the bottom section of Cinderella. Time permitting, we may tackle some other areas in the park. We will meet at 9AM for OJ and pastries in the Ranger Station parking lot off Sanborn Road (map). Trail work will begin promptly at 9:30AM. Please bring work gloves and a snack. BTCEB will provide water and tools. This project is expected to 4-5 hours. Hard rain cancels this event.

Mission Peak Regional Park Saturday, December 13, 9:00am
Earlier this year EBRPD voted to allow cyclist on the Panorama Trail in Mission Peak Regional Park. The initial work has been completed and it’s time for some hand work to smooth out the trail bed and restore the switchbacks. BTCEB will provide tools. Please bring work gloves and water. Children, accompanied by an adult, are allowed to this event. More details about meeting location will be provided soon. RSVP’s are appreciated.
