Is it some kind of fancy chain catcher?

It looks like a stem which can be adjusted for different steerer sizes.

Is it some sort of bar mount for a downtube shifter?

This looks like a prototype to me.
It clearly has a housing stop for a cable (far left). Though, the lever piece doesn’t make much sense in it’s range of motion.
Bar-mounted lock-out lever, of some variety.

Looks like the RockShox lockout lever that came with some Reba forks. Great design, worked nicely.

Its a Grafton/Ringle proto disc brake

I knew this one would be a little tougher. For scale, the hole in the clamp is handlebar sized. The 2 pieces shown will need donor parts to make it work. These are from about 5 years ago.

this looks like and adator to mount a road drop-bar shifter to a flat bar. you would need to take the shifter guts from the road shifter (looks like a campy shifter) and install it in this thing. that would allow you to run 11spds on a flat bar bike. are there some pieces missing?

Research and memory aren’t serving me today.
I’m leaning towards it being associated with Magura or Cannondale though.

Wow.. that is a difficult one.. maybe some sort of device to turn Downtube shifters into Thumb shifter like Paul thumbsies? But looks a bit to overbuilt for that, and you probably wouldn’t need the lever looking part. a part to modernize old strummy archer 3spd shifter?

looks like a bar mount for a bar end shifter and the littler piece is something you mount to the bar end shift lever. Or it is an aero bar piece of some sort.

Definitely campy bar end to flat bar thumb shifteers, a couple people already nailed it!
