When we last spoke with Ted Ciamillo, he was revamping his business a bit after pouring a bit too many hours and resources into the Gravitas crankset project. While that project’s still on hold, his brakes and aquatic components have been selling as fast as he can make them…leaving little time for customer service, which has been a sore point for some customers.
Now, he’s turned over U.S. sales and service to Irish Cycles, which will handle all customer service, sales and shipments. To kick things off, they’re offering a preseason sale on the Micro brakes. The deal is $279 per set (regular is $299), and that includes the extremely limited edition Tir na Nog green edition shown above. As of this post, there are just four pairs of them in stock. Ted told us Irish will list for sale only what they have in stock, which should eliminate the long wait times some customers have experienced in the past. And production rates should go up just a bit now that he can better focus on building the brakes.
