Photo submitted by Tom Place, “Trip to Moab, UT, for some NC locals and friends from CA and VT, ripping (and sometimes tip-toeing) down the Portal trail. There’s a sign around the corner that says ‘Dismount now! DO NOT try to ride over the next rock, 200ft cliff! Riders have died here, riders just like you!'” Photo credit goes to Zephyr Sylvester.

We always love to see your photos and would like to show them to the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your photo with a brief description here.

Truly, it’s not as bad as many photos make it look. There are some areas that are super sketchy, but most areas do not have sheer cliffs. The photos make it look like you’re on the edge of death the whole time.

I’m with Nick O …it has its gnar spots but this flatlander has ridden it a few times and only had to dismount on the mentioned “dismount” place and a couple of others..personally didn’t find it to be that fun though…very tech…
