While I’ve been a long-time proponent for more heavily loading the front wheel than the rear for touring… this guy may have finally taken that notion too far.

Agreed on the front wheel bias for kit loading but this is just too much over the front, will make life hard your your wrists controlling it 🙁

Yer, was wondering the same thing about how that handles.

There are a few options out there for bikes without rear rack eyelets(?).

yes i use a blackburn rack that uses the extra long QR for the lower mount and a seat collar with eyelets to fix, but a goos size tail pack would of helped the bike above handle a bit better.

As mentioned it is a good idea to get more weight up front to help off set your own body weight on the back wheel but this example is going too far with that idea.
