In honor of our recent bike check with the legend, we’re kicking off this Friday with the latest adventure from Hans Rey. Heading out with Tom Oehler to the highlands of Guatemala, the duo split their time between riding the remote country side and working with Hans’ charity Wheels 4 Life. Continuing their mission to provide bicycles to people around the world with no other means of transportation, Wheels 4 Life has donated 7110 bikes to date. That’s 7110 lives changed by the simple power of 2 wheels. Pretty rad.

There’s plenty more to see next…

This is just a super fun edit featuring Eric Porter and Cody Kelley as they navigate the trails of Coldwater Mountain, Alabama. Yes, Alabama. We’ve never been, but after this clip we want to.

From IMBA:

Tucked away in the small town of Anniston, Alabama, the trail systems of Coldwater Mountain are quickly becoming a “must ride” mountain bike destination. Combine beautiful scenery, well-built trails with easy access, great restaurants and microbreweries, then add a dash of southern hospitality, and you have a mountain bikers dream destination. Professional riders Eric Porter and Cody Kelley spent a week riding the trails of Coldwater, and enjoying the lifestyle Anniston has to offer. This is what they found.

People always say fat bike edits look slow and boring. I think Whisky (mmm, whisky) did an excellent job capturing the fun of fat. #nosnowrequired

From Whisky Parts Co.:

Whisky Parts Co. wants to remind you that Summer is here and to get out on the trails. The Whisky No.9 70w rim is a year-round, trail capable, tubeless ready, carbon fiber rim. The NO.9 gives the rider unparalleled flotation, traction and control on every type of riding surface. To check out the NO.9 70mm rim head to whiskyparts.co

Since we are in the midst of the Tour after all, we can’t get by without at least one road clip. This one might be essentially a Samsung Mobile ad with Trek Factory Racing, but the film does a great job capturing the work of the domestique.

Cadence Collection has a new Aero Kit which gets featured in this cycling western. Fair warning – the music comes in pretty loud. Check out the full collection at CadenceCollection.com.

Why not finish things out with episode 4 of the Syndicate from Lenzerheide, Switzerland. If you don’t like watching painful things, don’t watch Ratboy try to get his finger relocated…

The World Cup’s first trip to Lenzerheide, Switzerland was a smashing success. Making it look easy on the Steve Peat-designed track, Greg Minnaar stepped to the top of the box once again, taking his record-setting 18th World Cup win! Greg’s won two of the four World Cups so far this season, and sits in third overall, just 12 points behind Loic Bruni. Josh Bryceland continued his string of injuries with a dislocated ring finger sustained during practice, and got the finger re-located just hours before qualifiers. He put down a strong run in the finals and finished 12th, which moved him up to 7th overall. Watch the fourth episode of THE SYNDICATE to see how the weekend unfolded behind the scenes (including Josh’s dining-table finger relocation)!

Also take a look at Greg’s helmet cam video from practice to see how the course looked to the winner! (Below)
