Available in 2 and 2.5 meter sizes for $350 and $379 respectively, the smallest provides 43 square feet of coverage and the larger model rolls out to over 55 square feet. Built for the rigors of outback travel, the new SunSeeker is made with an anodized and powder coated aluminum frame paired to 150D ripstop polycotton fabric. Treated with a thick PU coating to resist UV and repel moisture, the awning has additional fabric reinforcements sewn into high wear points. To guarantee a long service life, each individual component was designed to defend against rust, abrasion, and mildew.
The storage bag is made of 540gsm PVC waterproof fabric and mounted to an extruded aluminum back plate. The channeled mounting plate accommodates Rhino-Rack and Thule attachment kits and offers ample latitude for proper placement along the roofline.
With two telescoping support poles, the SunSeeker has enough adjustment range to fit everything from a tall SUV or pickup to a smaller crossover or wagon. Dual guy lines keep the awning anchored in windy conditions and for those inclined to kit out their trailhead shelter, the SunSeeker is compatible with Rhino-Rack’s line of accessories like a mesh bug room, side walls, or an awning extender.
