For the second year in a row, Canyon//SRAM Racing has selected new talent from the virtual world of Zwift. Well, that’s where it started anyways. As with previous Zwift Academy contests, former triathlete and crit racer Tanja Erath surpassed more than 2,100 women to score a pro contract for 2018.

After fighting her way through the virtual ranks, Tanja joined the other two finalists, Siri Hildonen and Bri Torkelson for the Canyon//SRAM winter training camp in Koblenz, Germany. There, the three went head to head in an elimination style challenge until Tanja was declared the winner. Tanja will now join last year’s women’s Zwift Academy winner Leah Thorvilson and the rest of team Canyon//SRAM for the 2018 pro tour season.

Fancy a shot of your own? Zwift and Canyon//SRAM have already confirmed that the Zwift Academy will return in 2018, so start your training now!
