If you want to skirt the rules (or flaunt them), Defeet’s upcoming UCI rainbow stripes logo graphic will give you that pro race feeling without running afoul of the rules. Spelling out their brand name in a block graphic makes it subtle and artistic. Look for these to hit shops in spring 2018. The beanie shown above is what one of their employees does with the scrap materials, and these were early run left overs. Check the other hats pieced together from wool and other patterns they offer, but you’ll have to find them exhibiting at a race to grab one.
Stuff you can buy now in shops or on their website include all of these new Woolie Boolie (top row) and Thermeator (bottom) designs. On the top, the geometric pattern on the far left has been in the line, but the solids to the right are all new and are the thicker Woolie Boolie Comp, which gets a little more padding throughout.. That gray one is actually more of a drab olive green (called Loden Green), but depending on the light, mostly looks gray. Retail is $16.99 per pair.
