  • BMC owner Andy Rihs passes away – Owner of BMC Switzerland, BMC Team Racing and passionate Swiss bike entrepreneur Andy Rihs passed away at age 75 at the Susenberg hospital, Zürich on April 18 peacefully following a battle with cancer. Coming into pro cycling and BMC ownership through his successful Sonova hearing aid company (think Phonak) around the turn of the millennium, Rihs has been a passionate and influential voice in the international cycling community for the past two decades.
