- US Forest Service awards volunteers $264,000 for MTB trails with IMBA – This year’s IMBA National Forest System Trail Stewardship Partnership Grant Program grants have been announced. And 23 of the 42 awardees are projects that will enhance mountain bike trails in our National Forests. IMBA worked with the US Forest Service for the second year in a row on the grant program, nearly doubling the grants vs. 2017. The 23 projects with mountain bike components will receive $264,000 before grant matches, including Boulder’s Magnolia Trails, Chequamegon’s Rock Lake Trail, the Tetons’ Phillips Ridge trails, GA’s Bull & Jake Mountain trails, multiple trails in MT, and Tucson’s Canada Del Oro trail.
