Stick around bicycles long enough and you’ll realized they’re far more than just a way to get from point A to point B. Many people believe the simple bicycle has the power to change lives. That can be the ability to ride to get fresh water in a developing county, being able to ride to work, or as the Riding for Focus progam has shown – the ability to help improve the academic performance, health, and well being of students who struggle with issues like ADHD.

Founded in 2015, the Specialized Foundation has been using their Riding for Focus program to help schools all across the country. And for 2018, they’re nearly doubling the amount of partner schools. Thanks to the addition of 37 new schools this year, Specialized says that they now work with over 20,000 students at 77 schools, in 30 different states. Each new school will receive a fleet of bikes, a maintenance kit, helmets, and the Riding for Focus curriculum to kick off the programs this fall.

You can learn more about the program, pre-qualify your school for future grants, or donate through the link, here. Congratulations to the 37 schools below!
