Win a Focus Dream Build JAM² e-enduro bike
Focus’ Customised Christmas bikes are all about raising money for a good cause, and giving a lucky rider a unique Dream Build bike. For the first week of Advent, Focus is pairing the 150mm alloy JAM² e-bike with the charity Wings For Life to support research into better treatment for spinal cord injuries. Mountain biking always carries some risk, and Focus is looking to give back in the hopes of helping those who lose mobility in all kids of accidents.
To enter in the draw for the bike, you only need to donate 5€ to Wings For Life between now and Jan 5, 2020. In fact, you can only enter once with a single donation, so everyone will have an equal chance to win. The only limitation is that the contest is open to EU residents only. The winner of the JAM² will be announced on Jan 7.
Dream Build JAM² e-bike details
Focus says they pushed their Customised Christmas JAM² to the limits of aggressive e-all-mountain with about as premium build spec as you could imagine. Starting with a one-off-custom color scheme inspired by “classic Gulf Porsche” they bolt up the Bosch Performance CX motor & a 625Wh Powertube integrated battery to the 150mm travel hydroformed 7005 alloy JAM² frame.
Suspension is all Fox Factory, with a 150mm Float 36 Orange Line fork, Float DPS shock & 170mm Transfer dropper. Drivetrain is Shimano XTR 1×12 with e*thirteen carbon cranks & 200mm XTR brakes stopping DT HX1501 alloy wheels wrapped in 29×2.5″ Maxxis Minion DHF tires.
OneUp sorts out the cockpit with grips, an EDC stem with hidden tool & carbon handlebar.
What’s next in the Customised Christmas Focus Dream Builds?
This e-bike is just the first installment. Next Sunday it looks like a Raven carbon XC hardtail mountain bike will join the party. Then an aero carbon Izalco Max will go up on Dec 15. And finally, what appears to be a carbon DH & park-ready SAM for the Sunday just before Christmas. No more detail yet, but each of those weeks is likely to add a new charity to donate to in order to enter the raffle.
