Looking for a throwback colorway for that retro road bike you just can’t get rid of? The latest limited edition Cane Creek eeBrakes calipers come in a mix of turquoise, pink, purple and silver.

Technically, the colorway is meant complement to a set of eeWings Tie Dye cranks, but the mix of hues has that 80s vibe for sure.

Designed by Craig Edwards and hand-assembled Cane Creek’s facility just outside of Asheville, North Carolina, eeBrakes are among the very lightest rim brake calipers available. Since being acquired by Cane Creek, they’ve released two limited edition colors each year, each with a 2-week order window.

The brakes will be sold exclusively in sets of two with a retail price of $680 per set. All orders must be placed by November 21, 2020 with shipments beginning in December.

Past colors include El Fuego, El PlatinoEl Rosado, El Diablo, and El Chulo.

Yea, you’ll have that. Make disc brake calipers that look like this.

What’d be really cool is being able to trade in my current eeBrakes for a discount on these.

Wow so nice I just bought a set for my titanium frame last year wish these had been available instead of just black – great brakes btw very wide and tall can fit the widest tires of any rim brake I believe and great stopping power and modulation. But you already knew that… I wonder when I can’t get anymore cassettes for my Record 10 in 13-29 ish will the 12 speed upgrade be able to use these same brakes? Mechanical I guess. The ee were def an investment

Price is ridiculous, but I’d buy two sets if they cleared 32-33mm tyres.
