Not only does Shimano round out their component groups with corresponding pedals, sometimes they also offer matching shoes. That’s the case with their latest special edition, the Dura Ace S-Phyre—which is the perfect companion to the new Dura Ace Group.

Limited Edition SHimano Dura Ace S-Phyre Road Shoes

Somehow, the Dura-Ace themed special edition manages to be both stealthy, and flashy if you catch it in the right light. Between the sparkly finish on the upper, enameled black surround, and dual pearl metal BOA Li2 dials, the RC902S offers everything we love about the top-level S-Phyre shoes and gives it a unique look. Just don’t expect it to come cheap at $430.

• Silvadur anti-bacterial treated insole

Drawing on trickle-down tech from the S-Phyre level, the RC702 uses a Dynalast fit with dual BOA L6C dials and Power Zone lacing to deliver a performance shoe at nearly half the price – $240.

Limited Edition RX8 Gravel Race Shoes

Finally, for the gravel fans, there are two new limited edition colors of the excellent RX8. Shimano states that the RX8 is one of the lightest shoes in the Shimano off-road line at 265g for a size 42, which makes the shoes a great choice for pedaling-intensive rides that still may require some hike-a-bike.

The LE RX8 will be offered in a unisex model in Bronze, and a women’s specific model in Yellow Gold. As for the colors, Shimano’s Lifestyle Gear Product Manager, Jessie Gascon says, “The inspiration for the new yellow gold colorway is drawn from my long-way-home golden hour commute option where gravel routes are abundant. The bronze is inspired by the vast red-rock desert landscapes that, when paired with long days in the saddle, are food for the soul.”

Both are available now and while Shimano doesn’t mention the retail price, both versions are offered for sale on Backcountry.com for $260.
