In this episode of what’s new from All-City, it’s mostly about forks. Specifically the forks of the new Mr. Pink Classic, and the Electric Queen. A few years ago Mr. Pink evolved from a steel fork to a carbon fork in search of a lighter, more performance oriented ride.
However, not everyone is into that, so a number of riders were apparently requesting the option for the look and ride of a steel fork to make a reappearance on the Mr. Pink. To make both sides happy, the new Mr. Pink Classic switches back to a steel fork. However, the carbon fork build will still be an option for the Mr. Pink – just on a more expensive build.
To go along with the steel fork, the Mr. Pink Classic adds the improved Shimano Tiagra group to make the complete bike even more affordable. The end result is a complete build for $1,799 and a frameset for $999. The bikes are available and in stores now.
Over in the dirt, the All-City Electric Queen gets a few news worthy additions. Most obvious, is the new cyan blue splatter paint. It’s not quite as in your face as the original, but the splatter paint keeps it in the same spirit and it looks pretty rad. Also, up front you’ll now have an additional fork option in the form of their new segmented rigid fork that is painted to match either Electric Queen color, and fits the same 27.5 x 3.0″ tires with Boost spacing. These won’t be available in the complete build, but they will be available aftermarket for $250 in about a month.
The complete Electric Queen also gets a bit of a spec update by moving from 1×11 to a full 1×12 SRAM NX Eagle group with a complete price of $2,399 and a frameset (frame and rigid fork) price of $999. Just like the Mr. Pink Classic, the new Electric Queen is in stock now.
