Seems there’s a ghost in the machine at BKool, scaring away the usual 3D scenery in their virtual training world and replacing it with a spooktacular Halloween theme. Ready to ride with the ghosts, goblins and your own inner demons? Fire up the BKool training simulator quick, things should be back to normal by Monday morning. If the thought of out riding spectres doesn’t make you squeamish, head past the break for more screenshots…

The new weather is complete with fog, lightning, jack-o-lanterns and skeletons, including your own skinsuit. The BKool simulator works with any trainer, and can control the resistance of “smart” trainers, so you don’t have to use their equipment to ride the 500,000+ routes they’ve converted to virtual 3D courses.

I poked around their website for 20 minutes or so and could not find the monthly subscription prices. Lots of mention of getting 3 free months when you join, but nowhere did it say what that cost was? This seems odd. Maybe I missed it?

Can you ride, draft, race and compete with other riders on this like Zwift? And create segments in strava?

You can ride, draft and race with other riders. Far better than Zwift.
The velodrome competition is funny.
Lots of routes. Looks like unlimited.

Monthly subscription cost around 14 usd. Yearly, it is 144 usd.
If you buy a BKool Pro, 0.01 usd for 3 month coupon inside the box.

Hi Pit, as Tony has already mentioned yes you can ride, draft and compete against other riders in real time. And in relation to the segments in Strava, this is also possible. For more information, please contact support and they will explain how everything works.
