Even if you don’t know who Bob Haro is, you have probably heard his name. Known as an artist, athlete, designer, and entrepreneur, Haro’s story is intertwined with the history of BMX, especially the world of BMX freestyle. To honor everything that Bob Haro has done for BMX and to throw it back to the glory days of freestyle, Bell has just announced a collaboration with a limited edition Custom 500 SE Haro edition helmet.

Based on the classic 3/4 helmet, the 500 SE Haro will look right at home with some Skyways. Of course you could also just put it on display to bask in the BMX glory days.

Sold in five different shell sizes, the DOT approved helmet is constructed with a fiberglass composite shell, and includes an anti-bacterial padded liner. The 5-snap pattern allows for aftermarket shields and visors to be used, with two additional snaps on the side of the helmet.

The Custom 500 SE Haro is limited to 250 helmets and will include a custom helmet bag that features Bob Haro’s artwork. Currently, if you purchase a helmet for $189.95, you’ll also get a free Haro T-Shirt. The T-Shirt is also available separately though for $28. Both are available now, while supplies last.

I dont have found memories of getting my head cooked in one of these plastic bowls. Not even a hint of ventilation or cooling no wonder Iam brain dead now.
