Whether you’re looking to get pumped for your next enduro shred sesh, see what it’s like to do the Death Ride, or just check out the story behind one artist’s custom painted Chrome bags, this roundup has a little something for everyone.

Sierra Nevada founder and owner Ken Grossman, 63, recently completed California’s infamous bike tour, the Death Ride, with his coworkers. He thought it’d be “fun”, mentioned it to his team at one of their Town Hall dinners, and found 10 folks willing to jump in on the 1 day, 5 peaks, 127 miles and 15,000 feet of climbing on a ride through the Sierra Nevada mountains. Oh, and it starts at 4am.

Dustin Klein gives us an inside look at the process and steps required to create a run of hand painted Chrome Barrage Backpacks that will be sewn in the Chrome Hubs. Each Bag is unique and very limited, and he had to paint 100 of them! Want one? They’re only available through Chrome’s stores worldwide, not online.

In the conclusion to season 2 of Haro’s Basecamp Chronicles, Ryan Nyquist spends his last couple days developing his run at Whistler, having fun with fellow joyride athletes, and even making a last minute bike change. Ryan gives his final thoughts on his competition runs and what he looks forward to next.

Love the Dustin Klein Chrome stuff. You should really check out his YouTube channel if you haven’t. Really well-produced gravel adventure rides and him creating and designing bike stuff, clothing, etc
