While dropper posts have become the norm for almost all technical trail riding, the proven parallelogram Thudbuster has been taking the edge off for hardtail riders even longer.

Much like the recent short travel Thudbuster ST, this new Thudbuster LT gets similar updates. Between a simplified head design and more easily interchangeable elastomers for a range of rider weights, it is also likely to find life smoothing out bumps on loads of new e-bikes.
Long travel Thudbuster – Tech details
The new suspension post gets 18% longer travel up to 90mm, which also brings with it a 30% weight gain up to 750g (31.6). The new Thudbuster LT & its linkages are now entirely forged alloy, pivoting on user-serviceable hard-anodized axles & PTFE bushings.
With that comes the 1-bolt head simplicity, and new tool-free interchangeable elastomers (with that gold lever locking them in place). The new LT design uses a single, one-piece elastomer to control its travel, and includes just the standard Medium when you buy the post (rated for riders 150-200lb/65-90kg). Extra Soft, Soft, Firm & Extra Firm elastomers are available separately for an extra $16 each, for riders up to 250lb/113kg.

The revamped Thudbuster LT is the longest travel suspensions seatpost that Cane Creek has ever made and sells for $180 (four bucks more than the previous generation.)
