Thanks again to Tom from i-Ride come these photos of Campagnolo’s 2011 Super Record full carbon fiber rear derailleur that comes in at a paltry 155g.

Why so much carbon? Well, it has to match the hollow carbon arms on the matching crankset, shown right after the break…

The 2011 Campagnolo Super Record Ultra Torque crankset comes with hollow carbon fiber crank arms with an UD finish and titanium axle. Comes in under 620g.

UPDATE: Crankset weight is for the full size 53-39  with Ti axle bolt included but does not include the BB.

I’m counting at least 5 or 6 alloy bits left on that carbon derailleur… Seriously Campy… Couldn’t you at least make those adjustment bolts carbon? You know, save .005 grams of grossly excessive weight? Sheesh.
