Dirty Dog MTB has become known for wild disc brake rotor designs. Now, they’ve changed their name to Moment Industries and brought out the new Storm rotor.

The brake rotors are forged from 410 series straight-chromium stainless steel, which they say offers superior corrosion resistance. They’re heat-treated to a very high hardness at temperatures in excess of a 1000°F, then double disc-ground for guaranteed removal of any imperfections.

The company may have changed names, but it’s the same people running it that started the company in 2005. A few of us have ridden their prior rotors and been pleased with the performance. The Storm joins the original designs and will come in 160, 185 and 203mm diameters for $69.95 to $79.95. Shipping is free in the US. No weight listed, we’ll update if we hear back.
