Like last year at Eurobike, Reverse Components had a smattering of parts that fit all over the bike, and this year’s collection shows an evolution of several prior models.

A new one, and definitely one of the more interesting, is the Reach Set. It’s an adjustable reach (not angle) headset that allows for +/- 6mm of wheelbase adjustment by matching upper and lower cups in a 1.5″ head tube. It’s aimed at the downhill market as it’ll accept only 1-1/8″ steerers only, but still – cool idea.

The Black One Enduro is a new MTB series and includes a DM stem that’s a two piece design that’s 76g, almost half the weight of their prior design. It uses a closed loop to hold the handlebar rather than an open face plate, and those loops are far wider apart than the prior model, too.

The Enduro stems are also new, coming in a 50mm length, and the S-Trail gets a new 30mm length.

The Base stems for Giant’s 1.25″ upper steerer tubes gives you a 3rd party option for getting really short. It’s available in a 40mm length with a weight of 160g.

Seismic series carbon handlebars are designed to have a bit of flex to reduce arm fatigue, something tuned over two years of testing. 25mm and 10mm rise, 5° upsweep and 9° backsweep.

Stock, it comes in at 790mm wide, but can be cut all the way down to 700. Weight is 187g and 195g depending on rise. Matching grips come in 32mm and 34mm diameters. They provide a hand measurement chart with recommendations, and other grips from them have 28mm and 30mm diameters.

New Aircon rotors and pads are designed to keep you (and your brakes) cool under pressure. The rotors are steel with an aluminum heat sink connected to it in a floating design using an alloy carrier.

The pads use a two piece system that lets you replace just the pad section without throwing away the finned carrier. It’s keyed to stay in position; available for SRAM, Formula and Magura.

2016-Reverse-Components-X11-Evo-chainguide-bashguard01

The X11-EVO chainguide and bash guard slims down last year’s design even further, but is specifically for 1×11 groups. Weight is 93g with the bash taco and fits ISCG and ISCG05. Compatible with 28 to 36 tooth rings.
