The K-Edge Mountain Chain Guide was teased at Sea Otter, and now it’s ready, bringing with it massive adjustability to fine tune it for any 1x drivetrain setup. Every bolt on it is 3mm. The cage opens with a single bolt, but you can reach some of them without needing to flip it open.

The adjustment bolts allow for tilt, angle (yaw), offset and height. From the front, two of the three bolts holding it in place sit inside oblong slots, letting you tilt it to match the curve of your chainring. The height adjustment is also found here.

From the back, you can set the distance from the seat tube, letting you line it up with the chainring. Then shorten or lengthen the two bolts on the side (from the front, same as what adjusts tilt) to adjust the yaw so that it lines up perfectly with your chainline.

Lastly, on the back of the guide is a set screw that can be threaded in to split open the tail end to accommodate chain line on the extreme ends of the cassette. Retail is $99.99, final weight TBD. Available in both direct mount and ISCG05 mount, mid September.

Shimano PRO Vibe custom K-Edge pro cycling computer mount

K-Edge is making a new Pro mount for the Shimano PRO Vibe carbon handlebar, which is totally custom to fit the bar’s extremely narrow clamping section. The insides had to be sculpted to fit the non-round section that curves into the flat section.

Shimano will set the price and sell it, but K-Edge is making it. The price? Well, if you can afford the bar, don’t worry about it… (Price TBD, actually, but don’t expect it to be cheap. However, if you want a mount for this bar without doctoring something up yourself, this is it.)

Lastly, they’ve finally added an aluminum set screw for GoPro style mounts, which incorporates a 4mm hex bolt. This lets them offer something that’s hand adjustable, but still fits their “bolt it down” ethos. It’s development has been on the back of their minds for years, but they didn’t want to just do a hand-tightened part. With the popularity of their Niterider mount, they decided it was time to figure it out. Retail is $9.99 and should make a lot of people happy.

Although i’m waiting for the mount for Shimano Pro Vibe Di2 stem.
This is a no sale for me.

Not everyone use Shimano Pro Vibe stem with Pro Vibe aero handlebar.
Shimano Pro Vibe Aero handlebar’s offering are too wide (no 38cm or 36cm offering) so i only get the Pro Vibe Di2 stem and use Enve bar size 40cm (at drop end) which is 36cm on the hood.

I expected K-edge mount to be specific for the stem only and i’ll be good. However, since it also need to match the curve of handlebar.

Can’t they just release the version that Pro used in TDF?

Short reaction: Disappointing.
In the text: “The insides had to be sculpted to fit the non-round section that curves into the flat section”
so it must match the bar’s curve?

That means it only fit a single Stem and Handle-bar combo together?

hope that is false. I really need to use the Pro Vibe Di2 stem with my Enve bar.

In that case you shouldn’t need this, because your enve bar should have enough room for a normal k-edge right?

No, Enve SES Aero road bar has narrow clamp section, just like Pro Vibe Aero bar so normal version doesn’t work.
Currently i’m using stem face-plate mount on another stem but i want to change the stem soon and the Pro Vibe di2 fit both aesthetic, price and -10 angle that i want.

sound like i either have to buy older style Pro Vibe stem and remove ugly white graphic or look for other good looking black stem with -10 degree.

Or you could just take a round file to the mount like a lot of people do. I had this issue with a VukaSprint bar. 20 minutes of careful filing and checking and it was perfect.

When talking about dimensions, you understand that if it’s more than 3 dimensions, that 4th dimension is time, right?

Came here to say this. I hate marketing bullsh*t. This is not adjustable in 4 dimensions, it is adjustable in 3.
