Just like they did with their longer-travel enduro bike, Evil tweaks their mid-travel carbon all-mountain 29er trail bike with the now lightly salted Offering LS. Talking about it like the one pocketknife that you can use for any task, the Offering LS  is the kind of do-it-all mountain bike meant to ride from local singletrack all the way up to the start line of an enduro race, maybe even whip it around a bit in a bike park…

The Offering LS lightly salted update is really just about modernizing the trail bike for better usability like on the 166mm Wreckoning LS last month. The lighter, more versatile LS trail bike gets the same few updates for next season’s riding –  a UDH, top-shelf suspension upgrades, free bearing replacements, and some limited edition styling…

It also appears to get one extra millimeter of rear wheel travel at 141mm, up from the carbon Offering’s complete overhaul two years back that Super Boost-ed the bike and gave it longer & slacker flip-chip-adjustable geometry, plus an optional angle set headset to make for 6 different handling settings.

What’s new?

The new Evil Offering LS gets SRAM’s easy-to-source replaceable Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) with the added benefit of future compatibility with SRAM’s upcoming (soon, we hope) next-gen Eagle SL drivetrain.

Rear suspension also gets more user-friendly management, capturing the trunnion shock spacers in the linkage itself, so no more aligning tiny parts when you swap a shock. Just pull 3 bolts, swap in a new shock, and whip your bike from air to coil trouble-free in just about a minute. Although, most riders will likely stick with the already excellent stock RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate air shock that comes with every bike.

Free Bearing Replacements Forever

The best way to keep your full-suspension mountain bike running smoothly season-after-season is probably making sure you have freshly serviced bearings. So Evil makes it easy. From 2022 on, original owners of the Offering LS can register their bike on Evil’s website, and get a free set of new replacement bearings for your bike once every year.
