Basso bikes brought 3 new models to Interbike this year including the Fast Cross Disc and new entry level carbon bikes. The new Fast Cross runs thru-axles at both ends while the Konos TT bike is not only nice to look at, but has some nice features including their new Micro Tech seatpost and handlebar system.

Basso’s Fast Cross Disc uses a 15mm thru-axle up front and a 12 x 142 out back to keep things stiff and ensure proper rotor alignment. The bike has clearance for 35mm tires and though built as a 1×11, it’s ready for a direct mount front derailleur. Built, the Fast Cross comes with either a 1×11 Shimano 105 ($3,000), or SRAM Rival build, ($4,480).
The Konos is their new Tri / Time Trial Bike that is UCI approved making it flexible for both disciplines. They’ve streamlined the stem into the toptube to get it as low as possible and tucked the Power Control Speed Brakes behind the fork and under the chainstays to get them out of the wind.
The Konos is fitted with their own Micro Tech branded bar system and seat post adding to its flexibility. The seat rail’s range can be easily set to full-on TT mode, or to “save my hamstrings” mode, and the bar’s height adjustment has plenty of range that is easily set making the Konos easily adjustable to whatever the event calls for. The Konos comes complete with an Ultegra Di2 build for $7,480 or as a frame kit for $3,896.
To add another customer base to their brand, Basso developed the Venta full carbon road bike. The Venta has a comfortable geometry and 27.2 seatpost to further reduce road vibration. The Venta comes either with an Ultegra mechanical build for $2,950 or a 105 build for only $2,580.
