Recently, it seems nearly impossible to go about your day without at least hearing a mention of CBD. For cyclists, one of the obvious sources has been Floyd’s of Leadville, but there are many, many more companies offering their own CBD products, with many of them focused on recovery from intense work outs.

One of those companies is Hemp Daddy’s, which was started by Caleb Simpson in Colorado. A self proclaimed outdoor enthusiast and ultra-marathon runner, Caleb says that he started Hemp Daddy’s after selling a previous company and he found CBD to help with some chronic inflammation issues he was experiencing from running and non-running injuries. After becoming a believer in the power of CBD, Caleb decided to launch Hemp Daddy’s which uses only USDA organic grown hemp from Longmont, CO. It’s also processed with a Co2 extraction method which is solvent free to produce a cleaner product.

All of Hemp Daddy’s products are considered full spectrum, which means they contain more cannabinoids than just CBD – including trace amounts of THC (verified by third party lab analysis). Because of that, you should check out the post Hemp Daddy’s wrote on drug testing here.

Along with the ability to pass a drug test (or not), there are certain to be a ton of questions when it comes to CBD which is why we thought it would be perfect material for our next AASQ. This is your chance to ask all your CBD related questions, though many of them might already have an answer in the Hemp Daddy’s FAQ section.

Otherwise, submit your questions through THIS LINK, and we’ll dive into the answers next week!

If you’re a competing athlete (triathlete or pure cyclist) and you participate in competitions that test for drugs, you could test positive with a full spectrum product. Look for broad spectrum or isolate CBD products because they are typically void of THC.
