On July 24-25, Age Groupers will get to race on the same Triathlon course around Hyde Park in London as the Olympians in 2012, and organizers are urging anyone interested to sign up quickly.
“It’s a unique experience because triathletes get the opportunity to race on the same course as the world’s best as well as getting an early taste of what the venue will be like in 2012”, said James Robinson, Commercial Director, Upsolut Sports UK Ltd, the company behind the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series
Roads will be fully closed for the ITU World Championship Series event, offering the elite racers a great chance to preview the same course they’ll be hoping to compete on at the Olympics. Making the event even more special for Age Groupers, organizers have split the race across two days, so everyone competing will also get the chance to kick back and watch the elite racers swim, bike and run their way to potential glory.
