Light & Motion is offering bundle savings to get you ready for racing season and save a little coin. (click on the flyer to read full-size)

There are two packages, both featuring their top of the line Seca 700.  The first includes the Seca 700 Ultra, which comes standard with a 9-cell Li-ion battery and mounts for helmet and handlebar.  The bundle includes an extra 3-cell battery with a $150 discount, giving you a full setup plus a spare battery for $649.98.

The theory behind the deal is you only need a small battery for race laps during an event, so why carry the larger battery during the race?  But, you have the huge battery with a 5-hour run time at max brightness.

The second bundle is the Seca 700 Race, which is the same light, but it comes standard with a 6-cell battery (3.5 hour run time at max brightness).  The bundle includes a 3-cell spare battery and their Stella 200 light and saves you $100.

Oddly, their promo email said they polled racers and found that they prefer the Stella (only 200 lumens) on the helmet and the Seca on the bars…I prefer the brighter light on the helmet and a beer on the bar, personally, but you can run it either way.

Bundle #1, above, and Bundle #2, below.

You can order these deals on their online store, and it’ll be fulfilled by your nearest Light & Motion retail dealer.  Offer good through April 30…giving you enough time to get one, practice using it, then come race against our Bikerumor.com team at the BURN 24 Hour Challenge.

NOTE: We’re currently reviewing their Seca 400, so if you’re not in a hurry, we should have that review up in a few weeks.  All this rain and freak snow have really slowed down some of our mountain bike product reviews…
