Love mountain biking? Want to do it for a living without going pro? Working as a mountain bike instructor is a growing opportunity, though not one without some hurdles that you’ll have to leap. To make the process a bit easier, Kingdom Cycling and Experiences is launching their Momentum Masters program which will help you realize your dream of riding for a job.

For the program to work, you’ll need to be currently PMBIA or IMBA certified – or at least have plans to be certified in the near future. Then Momentum Masters will help you train, provide the insurance, payment and scheduling tools, and help you get in touch with potential local students. While the program is based out of Vermont’s Kingdom Trails, you’ll be able to take what you’ve learned and apply it to your own cycling scene wherever that may be.

The program requires a yearly fee of $199, which will provide you with an online curriculum for instructors, a personalized Momentum Masters webpage, liability insurance, and a listing on the Momentum Masters guide finder. Not to mention a Momentum Masters jersey, industry discounts, and more.

Basically, the program takes all of the administrative work out of trying to be a mountain bike guide and allows it to be a potentially lucrative side hustle – or full time gig. For more info check out the link below.
