Keen is launching two new back packs for their Hybrid Life line that use recycled rubber, aluminum and other materials.  The Newport, shown above, has 100% recycled molded rubber bottom, aluminum components and interior liner.  Features include an interior hydration bladder pocket with hose slot, exterior side water bottle pockets (can’t really see them on this pic) and interior pockets, some zippered, some not.  It also has a 15.4″ laptop sleeve with padded, breathable foam back panel.  Dimensions are 20″ x 12″ x 8″, which means it should be a good commuter sized bag or light weekend carry about.

The Newport is also available in a Black/Gray combo.
The Women’s Venice bag measures 17.5″ x 14.75″ x 6″ and shares all the same features as the Newport, sans laptop sleeve.  It adds a little cellphone pocket on the right shoulder strap and zippers on the water bottle pockets, and you get more color options:
Both are modeled after Keen’s shoes of the same name (Newport / Venice), and they’re available now.  MSRP on both is $100.  Hydration bladders are not included with either of them, but they are designed to work with any old water sack you have laying around.
