GRIFFIN

FROM GRIFFIN: This Autumn/Winter 10 collection Griffin has been working closely combining traditional fabrics, from heritage mills, with new technologies – creating stitchless seams by bonding fabrics together and using laser cutting to create a really sleek overall look. The ‘Technical Softshell’ jacket is the first piece in this collection, it has a slim silhouette using softshell fabric combined with the traditional Woolrich red & black check. It’s character is clean, modern and functional. The shape is ergonomically designed for plenty of movement with an off centre zip, featuring engineered sleeves  with seams piped in camo. The hood is sculptured with piping details and features a rounded nose piece for smog protection. Manufactured in Italy to the highest quality a true example of technology working with tradition, please check out our video on the manufacturing. This is a Limited Edition design with only 50 pieces of each colourway available worldwide.

Rapha’s $230 Softshell Trousers are cut for cycling through the city and made with water resistant, breathable material with a brushed tricot lining.

They have a stretch waistband and gussetted, abrasion resistant seat panel with neoprene section to protect from wheel spray. Deep front pockets and a waterproof rear zip pocket keep your valuables safe.

To keep your other “valuables” safe, Rapha has their new Deep Winter Tights that use three different materials to insulate, block wind and repel water. They use a heavy weight fleece for most of the body, have articulated knees and are designed to be worn over padded shorts. The front of the legs have windproof panels and like the trousers above, they have reinforced, durable panels in the seat. MSRP is £220.00.

CRAFT

Craft’s just unveiled their new Zero Extreme Windstopper collection that includes both a short and long sleeve undershirt, boxer briefs and skull hat beanie. They use stretch Windstopper panels where necessary and Craft’s soft Zero Extreme material elsewhere and all are available now.
