Last summer, Polar Bottle announced that their insulated bottles were getting super sized. The aptly named Big 42 was great news if you wanted a bottle to carry massive amounts of water, but not so good if you wanted to carry it in a standard bottle cage.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t take it with you. Thanks to a few oversized cages on the market, the Big 42 can be strapped to your downtube, and now Polar Bottle is making it even easier to get…

While there are a few cages that will work with such a large water bottle, Polar Bottle says that they have had the best luck with the TwoFish Quick Cage. Technically sold as a 40oz cage, the Quick Cage will fit a range of bottles including the Big 42. Due to the added weight of a full 40+oz bottle of water, the Quick cage uses two large rubber brackets and aggressive velcro straps to hold it in place and prevent the extra weight from damaging the bottle bosses on your frame.

Available straight from any TwoFish Dealer, the Quick Cage is also being sold directly through Polar Bottle either as the cage only, or the cage and the bottle. A single cage will set you back $19.99, while the cage and a Big 42 bottle (Blue Bear or Stars and Stripes) will go for $35. Additional Big 42 bottles can be purchased for $19.99.
