German mail-order specialists Radon hit the price point for gravel adventure with its new Radon Regard line. This is the first gravel bike for Radon, though they have mixed it up for years in E-bikes, mountain, and road categories.

What is it? Radon Regard 10.0

The new Radon Regard 10.0 arrives in an alloy frameset with a solid build proven in the gravel marketspace. The Regard (all models) comes with a full carbon fork and a sculpted alloy frame with 12mm x 100mm front and 12mm x 142mm rear thru-axles, partial internal cable routing, and enough room to clear up to 45mm tires.

From the looks of the Radon site, the new Regard 10.0 is the top offering in the Regard category, rounding out more do-it-all gravel and commuting builds. The Regard comes with three offerings; Regard 8.0 FE ($1,200), Regard 9.0 FE ($1350), and Regard 10.0 ($1,594).

The full Radon Regard line

Radon regard 8.0 frameset

The Regard 8.0 FE is the entry-level model in the Radon gravel category. The abbreviation FE means “fully equipped” because the entry-level model arrives with all the equipment needed to commute and explore. The equipment list is vast including; mudguards, luggage rack, Büchel lighting system, and Shimano GRX 400 2X 10 groupset.

Radon regard 9.0 frameset

The Regard 9.0 FE also comes fully equipped, like the 8.0 FE but the drive train sees an upgrade to the  Shimano GRX 600, 2X11 groupset, gaining an extra two gears and some durability. The build looks to offer a dependable and performance platform for commuting or extended overnight adventures.

Radon regard 10.0 feature

The Regard 10.0 ditches the fully-equipped naming convention and focuses on gravel and all-road performance. The Radon Regard 10.0 arrives with a complete Shimano GRX 810 1X11 groupset, making the bike an all-rounder and a good companion for fast gravel tours.

Radon regard 10.0 drive train

The new Radon 10.0 grave machine arrives with 40mm Continental Terra Speed tires, Mavic Allroad Black Disc wheels, and a GRX 1X 40T, with an 11-42 cassette to cover all the climbing/descending needs.

Sizing and Geometry

The Radon site offers many different views and breakdowns of the sizing and geometry, listed below is a Radon Regard 10.0 56cm frames geometry.

Doesn’t look like it can be shipped to US. Also, the 10.0 is listed at $1896, not $1594.

How is this possible? A GRX group is &1,200 and the wheels sell for about +/- 750.00 used. Of course you can’t buy it in the US, its not possible to build a bike of that quality for that price point. Somebody please prove me wrong.

The prices in the article are probably without VAT. On bike-discount.de the price is 1850 euro for the 10.0. The other models arenot listed

Here in Germany it’s 1,799€ which is more like 1,900$. Maybe that’s the price without tax. There are many bikes for 100 more.

Prices are incorrect, has Bikerumor make a mistake? Or is this click bait? I don’t know where they got those prices but Bike Discount has them for 1799 euro. That is more like 1900 US.

The FE models are sweet. Front fender could be a little longer, but otherwise quite a fantastic “all-weather commuter” package.
