Based off their larger seat bag, the new Revelate Designs Terrapin System 8L seat pack helps you pack out smaller loads on bikes needing extra clearance for the rear tire. That’s good news for folks riding smaller sized frames and bikes with low saddle-to-rail clearance such as full suspension and fat/plus bikes.
A new independent saddle rail attachment system with active cam locking buckle system helps stabilize the pack without needing external mounting hardware. The bag also features aluminum components for strength, composite internal stiffeners, and an external plastic bottom sheet for load transfer and protection.
The included RF welded drybag is 3D shaped for a custom fit inside the holster and includes an air purge valve to allow for proper compression of the system. Retail is $135 and it’s available in black, crush (purple) and multicam (camo).
