The Carolina Velodrome Association has worked for six years to get community and city/county council on board for a proposed 250m concrete Velodrome, which would be the largest (only?) velodrome in the Southeast US.  The developer has donated the land, which would be in the center of a mixed use development, and the CVA has raised $500,000 and has USA Cycling supporting it.
