It’s not uncommon to get some custom apparel from sponsors when you’re at the top of your game, but these rainbow striped Shimano R321 road shoes for ITT World Champion Vasil Kiryienka are uncommonly good looking.

Posted to Shimano’s Twitter feed, the shoes run the rainbow stripes to split white and black halves. Kiryienka completed the 53.5km (33.5 miles) course in 1:0:29.45 for an average speed of 51.368 km/h (31.92mph). Check ’em out from a few different angles below…

@Gazhopper – Given that Tony Martin was fined for riding a bike with the stripes in a team time trial, i’m pretty sure the UCI would fine Kiry.
