SCOTT racing shoe line-up for 2020
SCOOT Bikes have revealed new carbon MTB, Tri and Road riding shoes for 2020, including the new SCOTT RC EVO, featured below.
SCOTT RC SL for MTB Racing
The SCOTT Road RC SL Carbitex shoe is built on an HMX spread tow carbon sole with a Corecell foam core. The Boa Fit System with Dual BOA FIT SYSTEM IP1 secures the Carbitex carbon fiber uppers. (Updated to Boa Li2 dials for the 2021 season.) The shoes are available in sizes EU 38-48 and retail for €299.95. These weigh just 225g per shoe in the US 8.5.
SCOTT RC EVO for Road Racing
The RC EVO features a seamless, laminated TPU & airmesh upper. The dual-zone Boa Fit System IP1 dials allows on-the-fly adjustability at the ankle and at the forefoot. The ErgoLogic insole features an adjustable arch support and metatarsal button. The stiff HMX Carbon fiber sole has a stiffness index of 10 (SCOTT’s stiffest offering). SCOTT Road Tri Carbon Shoe
Designed for triathlon, the SCOTT Road Tri Carbon weighs in at 265g (US 8.5) and features a Boa Fit System IP1 at the heel with a HMF outsole with a stiffness index of 9. The SCOTT Road range also features the Aero TT shoe, the RC Ultimate, a Lace Knit version, and a ladies’ version with a stiffness index of 10, weighing in at 240g (US 6.5), in sizes EU 36-42.
SCOTT MTB RC SL Carbitex shoe
The XC shoe for Nino Schurter fans; the SCOTT MTB RC SL Carbitex shoe is built on an HMX carbon sole with a Corecell foam core for even more weight savings and ultimate power transfer. Suplest SEABASE Road Shoe
Only 150 pairs of the Suplest Road Pro SEABASE shoe are available. At 359 euro, these shoes weigh in at just 240g (EU 42, US 9.5), and offer a Solestar insole, a carbon outsole, a microfibre upper material, a BOA IP-1 closure, exclusivity, and compatibility with Look, SPD-R, Speedplay (with adapter) & Time.
Bontrager Rally Mountain Biking Shoe
The Bontrager Rally MTB shoe is a dedicated clipless shoe for trail riding. The shoe has a synthetic leather upper, a reinforced toe box for improved protection, an abrasion-resistant coating on the heel, and a hook and loop velcro strap. It offers a shock-absorbing EVA midsole, and is compatible with 2-bolt SPD-style cleats.
