Initially developed for their team riders, the DVO Topaz 2 rear shock will hit the market for Giant Reign and Trance owners looking to upgrade. The design relocates the piggy back to work in the frame and still allows a water bottle to fit. More importantly, all of the tuning was revamped to work specifically with Giant’s maestro Suspension.

It gets a new air can with larger negative volume. External controls remain the same, offering a three position compression switch, and rebound adjustment knob. Retail price should be $500, available in mid summer.

They’re prepping dual crown and single crown versions of the Onyx (blue) for more options on the big bikes. For the growing trail category, the new Sapphire becomes a modern trail fork with larger stanchions…up from 32mm before, the new Sapphire beefs up the chassis to compete with forks like the Fox 34 and Rockshox Pike.
