As tires get wider, so do the rims. That seems to be the motivation behind Reynolds’ newest wheelset which replaces their current trail line up. The new Blacklabel 347 and 349 are substantially wider, but include all the features that make their Blacklabel series stand out for a killer carbon wheelset in 27.5 or 29″.

As usual for the Reynolds Blacklabel series, the carbon rims use their MR5 carbon construction with a hookless, tubeless ready rim profile.

Replacing their previous 25mm internal carbon trail rims, the 347 and 349 are 34mm internal hence the first part of their name. The last number refers to the size of the wheel – 7 for 27.5″ or 9 for 29″. Hookless and tubeless ready, the rims come pre-taped and with valves.

Each Blacklabel wheel is built to co-branded Industry Nine Centerlock hubs with 3° engagement and your choice of freehub. Straight pull steel spokes finish off the build.

With a claimed weight of 1655g for the 27.5 version, the wheels will sell for $2,099 and will be available soon.
