Single-shield lens sunglasses, according to Tifosi, offer superior eye coverage for runners and cyclists but states that their oversized appearance can make them awkward to wear in casual settings. They go on to claim that “The Sizzle can offer the best of both worlds – a casual frame featuring a low profile, shatterproof, scratch-resistant polycarbonate shield for active pursuits.”
Tifosi says they use their signature sports features like lightweight Grilamid TR-90 frames and durable polycarbonate lenses to make the Sizzle “a perfect Summer eyewear companion.” The Sizzle also comes with “Tifosi Glide” which they claim is a treatment that is done to the sunglass’s arms that allow them to comfortably slide onto your face and stay in place during movement.
