If America ever decided to redesign their flag, I’d immediately nominate Troy Lee to draw the stripes. Thanks to his artistic hand and iconic style, no apparel brand has flooded the DH racing scene more than Troy Lee Designs, the ubiquitous choice for those who want to look like they’re ready to take a podium next Sunday.
Troy Lee’s complete 2015 Bike Collection launched on Feb. 23rd, and all of their new All-mountain, Gravity and Cross Country apparel and protection is now available worldwide. There are some new additions this year for youth, women and XC riders, making this the largest bike collection Troy Lee has released yet.

The Skyline all-mountain kit is Troy Lee’s biggest seller. Now the youth can get trendy too, with a few new jersey and short options for shredder kids. Women get new long sleeve jerseys, and these styling new Skyline shorts (as seen in the photos above). Don’t worry; the shorts also come in solid pink or solid black!
Cross Country folk seemed to happily adopt Troy Lee last year, so they’ve expanded the XC-focused Ace line. More lycra base layers have been added, intended to integrate with other pieces of the Ace lineup like the new superlight windbreaker.
Five new pieces have been added to Troy Lee’s protection lineup, including an update of the popular all-mountain T-Bone knee pad, now called the T-Bone II. Also, Brandon Semenuk now has signature kneepads (left), which include an impact cap but are made slim to fit under pants. The Panic knee guard (right) features a longer cut with ample shin coverage. Also new for 2015, The Method knee guard employs a clever removable insert so you can switch from ‘wild’ to ‘mild’ and the E-Lite elbow is TLD’s new ultra thin slip-on style elbow pad.
Other than new graphics, the helmet line doesn’t see too many changes. Over the past year though, the flagship D3 DH helmet has seen some upgrades as TLD has beefed up the rear neck padding and added more Cool-Max and Dri-Lex material for better ventilation. Let’s face it; we’re all probably most stoked to see the new graphics anyways! That D2’s looking nice in the photo above, but how about the ‘Galaxy’ paint scheme on that A-1?
