Founded in 2007, Lezyne is now into their 8th year of Engineered Design. While keeping with their beautiful design ethos, the tools are more diverse than ever with a full on electronics division along side their numerous tools and bags. Changes to the multi tools include the new RAP 21 which along with a revised shape for better fit in your hand and tool stiffness, includes a compact LED light along with the standard tools.
In addition to the tools, Lezyne has some intelligent new lights that are definitely worth a look…
As evolutions of the Zecto Drive Pro that we’ve been loving, Lezyne has new versions of the Zecto including the Zecto Drive Auto. How many times have you started riding only to wonder if you had turned on your rear flasher? The Auto not only turns on by itself when it senses motion, but it will turn itself off as well after you stop for 3 minutes. The light features up to 20 lumens of red light in 3 flash modes plus ecomony, blast, and daytime modes.
Designed for mounting to the top of your helmet, the Macro Drive Duo provides both front and rear illumination. The light offers 400 lumens at the front and 5 lumens at the rear along with side visibility for improved safety. Using a 2 amp rechargeable battery the Macro Drive Duo has up to a 10 hour run time.
The amusingly named KTV is now available in the KTV Drive as well as KTV Drive Pro (right). The lights are compact with an easy mounting system and a built in USB stick recharging system. The Drive is front or rear specific with 15 or 7 lumens respectively, while the Drive Pro provides up to 70 lumens of bright white light.
KTV Drive and Drive Pros will be available separately or in twin packs with front and rear Drive or Drive Pro/Drive rear.
Lezyne is also getting into cell phone protection for the bike with their new Smart Dry Caddies. The waterproof bags feature QR mounts and are touch screen compatible. Available in sizes for iPhone 4, 5, and other popular phone sizes like the Samsung S4.
On the pump side Lezyne is now shipping the Gauge Drive HP and HV which includes the ABS Pen Gauge. Along with measuring the PSI you’re putting in the tire, the ABS chuck uses the Air Bleed System to release the air pressure in the pump hose which eliminates the possibility of unthreading presta valve cores. The ABS Pen Gauge is also available separately as an upgrade for current pumps.
Lezyne’s floor pumps get an upgrade for year 8 with a new oversized 3.5″ analog gauge. The new dial can be found on the CNC, Alloy, and Classic Floor Drive Pumps.
