nitro circus first bmx triple front flip

How big will BMX riders be able to go? That apparently just depends on how big they are able to build the jumps over at Pastranaland. In preparation for the next Nitro Circus Tour and in the never ending quest to go bigger, Ryan Williams and Andrew Ahumada decided it was time for someone to land the first ever BMX triple front flip. The race to landing the trick involved some gnarly crashes but in the end, it was Ryan Williams who finally sticks a near perfect landing…

Insane skillz, but is it worth the price? The only people that are going to remember these guys are their close friends and family, and they are going to be dealing with their injuries for the rest of their lives.

you mean like an intricate system of ropes and pulleys????? of all the millions of people on this planet…Two guys line up to try this.

Two-F’n-Guys…..unimaginable effort.

and, while it is true, they will both hobble out of this for years to come. no one else is lining up to pull off something like this. clearly, these two guys are willing to put all of it out there…..dropping out of the sky at those heights is almost unimaginable…….i dont know whether to hug them for their accomplishment or yell at them to stop-you’ll kill yourself! and yet they continue to push the envelope…. bravo guys!

I disagree @Velo. Their celebrity is way beyond just friends and family. This guys are stars in their world of freestyle BMX (is it even called that anymore) and I’m sure that there is crossover from fans of other extreme sports like freestyle moto, skateboarding, etc. And, speaking of injuries, take a look at Tiger Woods these days. He’s been golfing since he was just out of diapers and look at the physical toll it has taken on him. I’m sure he’ll be suffering from pain well beyond retirement.

@velo. we went to see the Nitro Circus show recently and it was a chilling experience. three people were carried off the performance floor by first aid. the low point came when they brought out a motocrosser who’d been paralyzed from the stomach down doing a double front flip. they showed the freaking NC crash video! over and over! then proceeded to strap him into a specially-modified mx bike so he could get out and flip again. cheered on as a triumph of the human spirit and all that. it was surreal and deeply disturbing.
