Originally created by a team of designers out of Göteborg, Sweden, the Ass-Saver is as simple as it gets. The light weight, 100% recycled and able to be recycled plastic fender simply slips into place on your saddle rails providing emergency spray coverage. Remember the cold, wet suffer fest that was Milan-SanRemo this year? In addition to the black unbadged Castelli Gabba WS jerseys, pros were spotted riding Ass-Savers in an attempt to make it even just a little more tolerable.

What the Castelli video doesn’t show you, is that when not in use you can fold the Ass-Saver in half and place it back under your saddle until you need it again in the future. Of course, you could also stuff it under your shirt, or in a book, or anywhere else you see fit for safe keeping.
